The UConn Navy STEM Crew is a dynamic group of student leaders who are dedicated to cultivating the next generation of naval engineers.

As the primary outreach arm of the UConn-URI Navy STEM Coalition, the Crew serves as near-peer mentors, bringing exciting hands-on engineering challenges to K-12 classrooms across our region.

High-impact engineering challenges like  SeaPerch underwater robotics, and Build-a-Boat competitions engage students in problem solving, teamwork, and hands-on engineering!

The Navy STEM Crew helps to bridge the gap between academia and industry leaders like General Dynamics Electric Boat, to empower students to explore maritime careers.
