Bring STEM learning to your classroom with our naval themed hands-on activities designed to engage, challenge, and inspire K–12 students! Our outreach programming gives teachers and homeschool groups the opportunity to introduce students to engineering and skilled trades through interactive activities that connect classroom concepts to real-world applications in coordination with Submarine Industrial Base partners.

Students can explore topics such as buoyancy, material science, electrical engineering, and additive manufacturing while developing problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.  Each activity is designed to spark curiosity and help students see how the STEM concepts they are learning today can translate into exciting careers tomorrow. Our ultimate goal is to inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators, and skilled trades professionals who will help design, build, maintain, and advance the submarines and ships that support our nation's maritime and national defense missions.
